You can reset service lights with OBDeleven in most supported vehicles.
You need:
• OBDeleven device
• OBDeleven mobile app
• Internet connection
Depending on your vehicle, service reset may require:
• One-Click App (uses Credits)
OR
• Manual coding (requires PRO plan)
⚠ Check your vehicle’s available apps before proceeding.
METHOD 1 – Using One-Click App (Easiest way):
Plug the device into the OBD2 port
Turn ignition ON
Connect to your vehicle
Go to: Vehicle → Apps
Search for "Inspection Service Reset"
Select "Reset" and apply it
Done
⚠ Only “Inspection Service Reset” resets the light.
Apps like “Inspection Service Interval” or "Inspection Service Distance" do NOT reset the warning.
METHOD 2 – Manual reset (PRO plan required):
Plug the device into the OBD2 port
Turn ignition ON
Connect to your vehicle
Go to:
Control Units → Dashboard (17)Choose: Adaptations
Depending on your vehicle, look for adaptation channels like:
• Time since last inspection
• Distance covered since last inspection
• Maintenance resetSet the value to 0 and save.
⚠ Some vehicles require multiple adaptations in Control Unit 17 (Dashboard).
Service reset does not work?
Check:
• Ignition is ON (engine does not need to run).
• You selected the correct One-Click App: “Inspection Service Reset” (not “Inspection Service Interval” or “Inspection Service Distance”).
• If using manual coding (PRO plan), make sure you reset the correct adaptation channels in Control Unit 17 (Dashboard).
• Make sure the warning on your dashboard is the Inspection Service light, not the Oil service reminder — these are different resets.
