OBD2 (On-Board Diagnostics Second Generation) is the latest standard (since 1994) that communicates with control units. Since the introduction of OBD2, different equipment has been utilized to check a vehicle's overall performance and track global emissions.

OBDeleven’s Basic OBD2 Diagnostics feature allows all car brands supporting CAN-bus protocol and manufactured after mainly 2008 to easily and hassle-free diagnose engine-related problems, identify important issues, and clear faults in minutes.

Each issue will have a dedicated Google button which will lead you to a more detailed explanation of a fault code. Please note that when you connect for the first time it might not be successful. In this case, you should enter your VIN number manually.

If you own an OBDeleven NextGen device, all you have to do is:

  • Create an OBDeleven account.

  • Plug the NextGen device into the OBD2 port and connect with the OBDeleven mobile app.
