Remote car is an OBDeleven in-app feature that lets you connect to your car’s manufacturer account and view key vehicle information directly in the OBDeleven app.
Depending on your specific vehicle, you can see details such as battery or fuel level, remaining range, lock status, and more.
Remote car works through Smartcar integration and does not require your OBDeleven device to be connected. Once set up, you can access your car’s information in OBDeleven without switching to a separate manufacturer app.

The exact insights shown depend on your specific vehicle. Remote car is available for vehicles that have a supported manufacturer account and are compatible with Smartcar integration.
How to set up Remote car?
Open the OBDeleven app or sign up if you’re new.
Tap Connect account in the Remote car widget.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and log in with your manufacturer account.
4. Allow access to your vehicle data.
5. Enter your car’s VIN if prompted.
6. Wait for the confirmation screen.
7. Once your account is connected, tap Show car status in the widget to see your car insights.
You can disconnect your car by tapping on the Remote car widget and pressing “Disconnect car” at the very bottom of the page.
